There are a few patterns, outfits and colours fashion places in our laps which are not really streetwise or suit many women – afterall we are talking of us flawed beings victims of varicose veins, cellulite, obesity, etc. So would you wear – Harem Pants? Be they pain cotton, sheer silks and chiffons knit or whatever other material they look great on those tall lanky models. But on most women it adds volume to the silhouette making them look shorter and bulkier.

Mix of Yellow and Green called Chartreuse, it doesnt suit most women – but possible to wear with blues and shades of purple.

Overalls? Most fashion run ways show this in a modified manner – the designers experiment with all kinds of materials on these ‘jumpsuits’ but are they overalls afterall. Not as practical as our dearest a denim jeans.
Sheers? These have been around for a long time but is it possible to wear the sheers and just sheers to get that ethereal look and walk on the street? The sheers require a lot of layering with a slip or a camisole but then it affects the flow of the dress – the way it is meant to be.

Drindl skirts? Have gathers at the waist band – and do we need added folds to bulk up our middle which already has enough on it?

Cycling shorts? Would give a nice smooth look to the models thighs with whatever they wear – but do our thundering thighs allow us to exhibit these?

Most outfits are strapless and sleveless – do we have the arms to show off?

Sometimes it seems like most patterns are made only keeping the slim tall glam dolls of the fashioniverse – well evident if you look at the sketches by the designers!
